So, my old username (daikiraikimi) has stuck around with me for a very, very long time. I made it back in middle school, when I was just learning Japanese and was having a hard time emotionally. After making it on the fly, I never had a reason to change it, since most folks didn't know what it meant anyhow. However, my last year of high school, my sensei gave my email address, complete with username, to my host family upon my return. I was horrified, partly because I was not asked, and partly because my host mother's name was "Kimi" so it was actually *much* worse than even the default. I ended up making a second email, with a more professi

Been a loooong time since I organized my favorites. I went through and combined a few folders, got rid of some I didn't need. Interesting to see how different of a person I was years ago, based on the type of educational images I favorited back then, lol.

In all my years of using deviantart, I never actually knew what the purpose of llama badges were. I figured they're just like... a cute thing? People like llamas? I got one today, and decided to try to google them again. Mostly, the answers are "they are a cute thing that people like" but I also found a poll where people were answering the question "why do you give llama badges." That was the first helpful answer I got-- most people said it was for fellow artist appreciation. (The second response was to get a llama badge in return.) So, I guess you can give out one llama badge per user, and it doesn't take away from your "stash" of llama ba

Thanks for favoriting my map.
You know, you mentioned Ren'py, but you didn't tell me it had so many systems for traditional RPGs (some third party, but all supported).  You should get a spanking for this.

Incidentally, and in completely unrelated news, I'll probably be trying out Ren'py.  ;-p
Yes, there is a lot of free code that folks have put out for Ren'Py. I put a decent collection into a "quickstart guide" here: lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/view…;

I've also seen a decent amount of folks do turn-based combat, though that code is not always free. The Creative Commons of the lemmasoft forums has a lot of good resources, I recommend checking it oug.
Thanks a lot for adding my work to your collection.
Thank you so much for the watch ^^
